Grandmaster
K. H. Kim was born in Seoul, Korea where he was accepted into Koreas
most honored martial art school the Chung Do Kwan. Being the only man
to win the Korean National Championship twice he quickly established
himself as the man to beat in Korea. Grandmaster Kim furthered his
ambitions by becoming the Chief Instructor of Tae Kwon Do for the fifth
division Korean Army and later the renowned Tiger Division.
Grandmaster Kim is a 9th
degree black belt, the highest rank for Tae Kwon Do. He has been
teaching Tae Kwon Do for over 45 years and manages the largest full-time
Tae Kwon Do School in the region.
He is an international
Master Instructor of the Art and Science of Tae Kwon Do, one of a select
few selected for this honor. Additionally, he is director of the Tae
Kwon Do Association and author of the Student Manual. In 2006
Grandmaster Kim was the Co-Chairman for the first World Tae Kwon Do
Championship held at the Anaheim Convention Center in California. The
students of Grandmaster Kim are honored to study under him and value his
willingness to share his knowledge of this ancient tradition.
