After completing their black belt training,
to become an instructor for Grandmaster Kim potential instructors are required
an additional training period for a minimum of three years.
Additionally, potential instructors must show a dedication to the
martial arts and a commitment to the school. These stern
requirements have led to the creation of an elite team of instructors
that are enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and eager to share what they have
learned. Our team of instructors and instructor interns are featured below:
Tom
Donaghy began studying under Grandmaster K. H. Kim in August 1978.
Master Donaghy is only the second of Grandmaster Kim's students to
reach the status of "Master". Master Donaghy carved his name in the
annals of board-breaking by successfully breaking ten boards (without spacers) with a sliding side kick.
Howard Martin

Howard Martin has been studying with
Grandmaster Kim since 1978. Master Martin is a local Omaha
businessman who is active in teaching and promoting the art of Tae
Kwon Do. Master Martin is a gifted motivator who encourages
his students to strive for perfection.
Ted Pryor
Ted
Pryor began studying under Grandmaster K. H. Kim in March 1979 at the
age of forty-eight. Master Pryor is proof that age is not an issue.
Master Pryor, at the age of seventy-five, continues to practice Tae
Kwon Do and instruct classes. Few students are able to keep up with
Master Pryor's "leg lift" exercises.
Mike Cech

Mike Cech began studying under
Grandmaster K. H. Kim in August 1982 and has developed into a
remarkable instructor with the beginning Pee Wee (ages 5 -11)
students. Instructor Cech has a reputation as a fierce competitor
in the ring. He executes his techniques with incredible power, speed
and accuracy. He has performed breathtaking speed breaks on
free-falling boards and an incredible three-board wheel kick speed
break at tournaments.
